Doug Goldschmidt, Ph.D. C.S.W. is a psychotherapist
and workshop leader with additional specializations in sexuality,
meditation, healing imagery, Hypnosis and EMDR. Doug has studied
many disciplines including Authentic Process Therapy (APT) mentoring
with Michael Picucci for the last six years. Elias J. Guerrero, M.D., M.P.A. has been instrumental in development of the Institute. He is a physician with direct experience addressing diverse medical and psycho-social issues of individuals with addictions and other medical, psychological, and cultural challenges. His work has been committed to serving underprivileged populations. Additionally, he serves on the advisory board of Mental Health and Social Services at the Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center, a consultant to the Greyston Foundation at The ZEN Center of N.Y. and a board member of Greyston Health Services.
Jane Hart, Ph.D. is a therapist and educator who draws on 22 years of experience pioneering the fields of Humanistic, Spiritual Psychology and addictions recovery. She has the unique distinction of having been a friend, student and colleague of the late Carl Rogers (the founding father of Humanistic Psychology and a core inspiration in the creation of Authentic Process Therapy). Jane has facilitated numerous local and international transformative group experiences. Jane can be reached in Malverne, PA at 610-725-9116 or John McCormack, C.A.S.A.C. is an addictions counselor and program developer with twenty years of experience working with people in recovery. John has worked with Dr. Picucci for the past 14 years in developing several rehabilitation programs and the experiential community concepts and staged model of recovery being offered by the institute. John can be reached by email. Michael Picucci, Ph.D., M.A.C. is a psychotherapist specializing in recovery from addictions and repressed traumatic conflicts. He has been facilitating groups and workshops on spirituality, sexuality, self-reclamation in recovery, and relationship counseling for many years. A training consultant to treatment facilities, he is also a founder and board member of several mental health organizations. He has recently completed a ten-year research study on individuals in advanced recovery that has evolved into the Institute. In addition, Dr. Picucci is the author of The Journey Toward Complete Recovery.
David Shaw, M.S., C.A.S. is one of the first practitioners
to be certified in Authentic Process Therapy (APT).
For the past ten years, he has worked closely with Michael
Picucci in workshop development and presentation.
Trained as a human sexuality educator and psychotherapist
at the University of Pennsylvania, David has been in
professional practice for over sixteen years.
He is bringing APT in individual and workshop settings to the
Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ areas. He can be directly
